You’ve made a difference!
From the children in Polihon – and all of us at Mission East:
A heartfelt thank you for taking action when the children of Ukraine need it most.
With your support, we are one step closer to giving these children the future they risk losing. You are now part of a community helping Ukrainian children receive psychological first aid, so they can begin to reclaim their childhood ❤️
The program is planned to run for 25–28 weeks, depending on security and weather conditions. We hope to extend the program beyond 25–28 weeks, depending on funding and your support.
You are giving children a chance to reclaim their childhood that they deserve
With group psychological first aid, Ukrainian children can learn to live with severe war trauma. The children can share their experiences with peers and receive support from professionals to find calm during the war.
Thanks for standing with us and the children of Ukraine when they need it the most ❤️

Follow the project and watch the shelter come to life on our social media channels.
Mission East’s work ranges from emergency relief in crisis situations to long-term development assistance.
We walk the extra mile to reach the people in need —whether they are beyond the most remote mountain range or close to a war zone. It also means that we keep going even when the world’s attention has shifted elsewhere.
