When the Climate People’s Assembly takes place in Middelfart in August, Mission East will be highlighting how climate change is affecting the world’s most vulnerable people, and what is needed to create real solutions.

Mission East will be screening the documentary film The Road to Til, which follows a local rescue operation in the mountains of Nepal following a devastating landslide. The film, produced by Mission East’s local partner HEAD in Nepal, offers a unique insight into how the climate crisis is exacerbating existing inequalities – particularly for people with disabilities.

At the same time, the film highlights a crucial point: the solutions lie locally. When roads disappear and aid cannot reach those in need, it is local organisations and communities that take action first.

For Mission East, it is precisely this approach that is central to our work on climate and inclusion across countries.
