A family fleeing conflict needs your help today

No mother should have to put her children to bed hungry. Yet for many families forced to flee their homes, hunger is a daily reality. A kitchen garden can be the beginning of a new life – providing fresh vegetables that help families put food on the table and give their children the nourishment they need.

One mother says: “Thanks to the crops (…) I can give my daughter the nourishment she needs.”

Will you make a difference today?

Your donation helps provide kitchen gardens for families who have fled Sudan. We help families set up their own gardens, provide seeds to grow vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes and squash, and teach them how to care for their crops so their gardens can provide fresh food for most of the year.

Make a difference – and benefit from tax relief. If you donate DKK 1,000, you can get around DKK 260 back through tax relief. That means your donation can go even further – helping both you and the people who need it most.

Remember to provide your CPR number when you donate. We’ll report your donation to the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT) free of charge.

Today, millions of families are fleeing war and disaster. Once they reach safety, many are left without the means to provide for themselves. A kitchen garden can offer a fresh start – giving families the chance to grow fresh food for their children and put nutritious meals on the table.

Your support doesn’t just put food on the table today. It helps families build a foundation for a more secure future.

The war in Sudan has created the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. The civil war began in 2023 between the government in Khartoum and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Around 14 million people have been forced to flee their homes – some seeking safety across the border, while millions remain displaced within Sudan.
