Young IT manager makes digital connections across the world
Michael Wolf is the new IT manager at Mission East. Has experience with cross cultural communication from IT-support for the Danish Armed Forces.
Secure connection across continents. This is the heart's blood for 28-year-old Michael Wolf, who has joined as new IT manager in the development organization Mission East.
Michael Wolf brings with him multiple qualifications and certifications within IT security. He also has experience as an IT supporter in the Danish Armed Forces, where he e.g. has set up a digital network for 800 users.
- When I was an IT system administrator in Lithuania, I wanted to help people in the world to connect better. I fulfill that desire in Mission East, where I strengthen the transversal digital collaboration between head offices and working countries, he says.
Michael Wolf lives in Copenhagen with his partner, with whom he goes on climbing trips. He generally does a lot of sports, both volleyball, swimming and self-defense. That is, if the weekend is not occupied by a security conference somewhere!
Michael Wolf replaces Richard Peppiette, who has worked as IT Manager for Mission East for over 20 years in the organization’s operational headquarters in Brussels. After introducing Wolf well to Mission East’s systems, Mr. Peppiette will continue to provide a few hours’ support per week as he moves towards retirement.
